Quite BrightBiology
Unless you love to drink and go out to bars and frat/house/apartment parties, there is not much to do at night.

Question
Penn State is THE best school in theQuite BrightBiology
Penn State is THE best school in the country. Hands down. Honestly it is a great school where you can get an amazing education. The faculty I have come into contact with have been extremely knowledgeable and surprisingly helpful. Many will go out of their way to help you, just ask! Yes there is 50,000 kids here, yes you can easily feel like a number. It's up to you to change that. There are SO many clubs to get involved with from club sports to THON (everbody get involved in thon it was my most amazing experience at penn state). Greek life is awesome, but not for everyone. I love state college, it is super clean and safe and there really is a lot to do there. Yes we are a party school, but there is other stuff to do. I hate people that judge the students based on the party school rep. Honestly I'm a Biology and Neuroscience major and I go out wed-sat. and have a 3.6, it's all about balance. Penn state is just such a special place between football weekends and state pattys day. Honestly like JoePa says, "Come to Penn State!" You WILL NOT regret it!! : )

Question
Penn state is honestly the best college inBrightBiology
Penn state is honestly the best college in the country! Go to one penn state football game and you will see that penn state has more school spirit than any other school (can you say #1 student section?)Yes, it's easy to feel like a number, but if you feel like a number, that's your fault. There are HUNDREDS of clubs to chose from! Get involved in greek life, or thon, or IM sports, the possibilities are endless. Yes, it's true if you don't drink there isn't a whole lot to do on the weekends, but 1. you can still go out and not drink and have fun and 2. my roommate was in a group called CRU (christian crusaders for christ) and she always had stuff going on from capture the flag to powdeerpuff football. If you do drink and still don't think we have anything to do, you are clearly living under a rock. Yes, the city is small, if you wanted a big city, why would you come to state college, pa? I LOVE the small town feel and couldn't imagine going to college in a huge city. I feel so safe in state college, I wouldn't even feel scared walking home alone at night. One of the best parts of penn state is their huge alumni network, almost every job interveiw my sister got was through a penn state alum who wanted to help another penn stater out. This is truly the best school ever and if you don't like it here, you're not putting in the effort! WE ARE!
