Dr. Vida and theBrightBiology
Dr. Vida and the class he teaches are archaic and not helpful. It breaks students progress. The group grade is unfair and does not reflect the student's knowledge

Question
What I really like about the University ofBrightBiology
What I really like about the University of Houston is the people, they're pretty nice, and the school isn't as segregated as I thought it would be. I love living on campus, everything I need is within walking distance, and next semester, my classes will be in the same building as my dorm. Enough about what I like, let's talk about what I really don't like:

I'm an biomedical engineering major, and unfortunately made the mistake of doing honors. Now I'm stuck in a class called Human Situation that I absolutely hate. It will always be among the worst experiences I would have in this university. I don't appreciate how the Honors college forces students to take ten hours of Human Situation, because it's more geared toward liberal arts majors, not science and math majors. My advice is if you're going into the STEM field, think long and hard about doing honors. STEM classes are already hard as it is, please don't add more stress to yourself by taking a class that has zero benefits.

I was estatic to transfer to this university from another major universit, however, I quickly lost this feeling once I actually unmasked the university.

Background info
1) transfered with a 3.6
2) biology major
3) have attended the university for almoost one semester
4) lived on campus for a bit however changed to offcampus after realizing how much I hated the university

Problems I had at the university
1) Terrible vibe (no social scence)
2) terrible food
3) Professors dont teach and classes are either really easy or extremly hard for no reason
4) students are mannerless
5) poor administration (unhelpful incompetent and rude)
6) campus is EXTREMLEY unsafe after daytime
7) school is money greedy
8) Poor bus transpotation ( U of H cut many bus routes and busses take 20 minutes to come and are super pack)

9) 20 percent of the school is asian (I dont care about the race) but stick to thier own race
10) campus needs huge innovation everything looks old
11) too much construction surrounding the school
12) terrible parking takes me an hour to park anywhere
13) advisers have no ideal what they are doing
14) U of H grades on a wierd grading scale and if you repeat a course it will not replace original grade
