William and Mary has some good faculty. Not so bright
William and Mary has some good faculty. They make the classes enjoyable and help me learn a lot. However, some faculty simply do not know how to teach. In the first year, it is hard to register the class you want to take because of the budget cut. People are generally friendly and open- minded. However, there aren't many activities and clubs in college so sometimes I feel this college is very boring. Williamsburg is also a boring town. In all, I would recommend this college to VA residents for this price. However, I would not recommend it to out of state residents and international students. First, it has a controlled diversity and OOS students may have a hard time adjusting to this college. Second, tuition fee for OOS students is very high about 35000 US dollars. If you are willing to spend 35000 US dollars in a public school, it will be better spend it in private schools. Look at other schools as good alternatives such as Boston College, New York University, Rice University, Fordham University etc. If you like the feeling of liberal arts school you can also looks at liberal arts college. In all, my experience in this college is not very good. But my not so high GPA prevents me transfer to better school so I stayed. Talk to people when you decide to enter this college.

Please go to a private university. The offerings in william and mary are very limited and profs often go to classes unprepared.
