Question
I have received an excellent education at theSuper Brilliant
I have received an excellent education at the College of William and Mary and am well positioned to have a very successful career. That being said, this school is a complete and utter shithole. The administration is more concerned with maintaining the school's unwarranted reputation and imposes ludicrous policies on its students, including an absurd alcohol and drug policy, an outdated and hypocritical honor code, and a general lack of common sense in many of its rules. Socially, it is entirely possible to have a meaningful "college" experience, especially if you join and are able to subsequently tolerate the Greek system. More often than not, however, you will find yourself looking at your peers who walk by you on campus and thinking, quite literally, "Who are these fucking TWAMPS? This cannot be real. I hate this school."

Question
William and Mary really really sucks.Quite Bright
William and Mary really really sucks. Everything about the school itself is terrible, with the exception perhaps of relatively small class size and relatively easy registration. The administration is full of deusches who cringe at the idea of anyone having a social life here - they made all the frats dismantle their beer pong tables. The school's alcohol policies are unbelievably strict. Even if you're in a good sorority or fraternity, the social life and party scene here sucks in comparison with almost any other school, and this is mostly due to the fact that the school only thinks students should go to school to study and because Williamsburg hates Greek life. The lack of school spirit is overwhelming, and the Griffin is a horrible idea for a mascot. Nobody tailgates or goes to football games. Half the student body is depressed.

Academically, William and Mary isnt all that hard. I dont know why everyone constantly bitches about how bad it is. The workload is easily manageable with some time management. The professors are good and helpful, and some of the classes are interesting enough. But honestly, although academics are good, it simply isnt worth it because of how overwhelmingly negative everything else is. There are some cool people (mostly in frats or srats), but there are also a ton of TWAMPS who live in Swem. In conclusion, William and Mary is only for losers who want no college experience, just studying. The social life here is particularly horrible, and the school is filled with overworked, depressed people. If you want to have a good time in college, go anywhere else. Seriously, think long and hard before you come here because while your friends from high school will be off having an awesome time somewhere else, chances are you'll be bored in your dorm room all weekend. I only went to William and Mary because it had a better academic reputation than most of the other schools I applied to, but now I am seriously regretting that decision. It simply isn't worth it. Luckily, I will be transferring to UMD next semester and will never have to go near this horrible place ever again. I really dont even ever want to be associated with William and Mary. Go somewhere else, anywhere else. Why do you think William and Mary students are among the most depressed in the nation?
