After 1 year at LU [both 1 semester commuter and the other as an on-campus]. i'm questioning whether going there was really right. part of it's my lack of skill when it comes to learning math at a super-human speed.
The kids there seem to have their heads and one of their hands assimilated into their cell phone 24-7 and don't watch what they are doing, and seem to enjoy blocking up traffic. also the native students [as in coming from another part of america] are vapid, vain, and materialistic.
some of the classes are good. I loved Coms 101, Dr. Putney's GNED classes, CSCI 111, and Ed hindson's Old testament survey. but those are the only ones that are good to me, the others are classes that are either , boring, teach materialism instead of biblical altruism, or you need to be a genius to understand.
The food at ANY of their dining facilities is good, just VERY HARD to get to because of long lines and vapid natives that cut themselves into the line.If you are going to come to Lu, brig patience and do not attend their residential program. DLP's the way to go. no arrogant brats to deal with, and you don't even need to move.

Liberty is one of the top Christian schools that one could go to period. There are a few issues that people continually wine about. #1 Rules: Liberty is not any more strict these days than any other Christian college. #2 Religion forced: Well Liberty is a Christian college with the goal of raising "Champions for Christ." If you do not want to be a "Champion for Christ," nor love Jesus you are going to the wrong school, because this is it's main goal. Furthermore they are attempting to facilitate an environment that will cause this end result. #3 not enough to do: Now I come from Chicago a city where there are endless possibilities, but yet there are people who hate our town and say there is nothing to do there either. Though there are not a that many venues, a normal person with a good personality can find something to do to entertain their self.
I have had no problems and would never want to go to any other university on the planet. In terms of apologetics, religion, bible, and law, debate, and worship Liberty is getting exceptional recognition. In addition I feel it to be of importance to say that we have beat Harvard's debate team in the past and are making huge academic strides. In Terms of athletics Liberty has like the best in the region and the games are attended by many students. well not the ladies BB or hockey, but most sports. I love LU . I do have to say that I wish there were stricter and tougher academic standards for admissions, but this is starting to finally come into fruition. In addition Liberty has put up a lot more dorms and they are larger then many of the other college dorms I have visited friends in. In addition there are different housing options that give you the some choice in what type of housing you can stay at.
