Its a good schoolBrightCommunications
Its a good school educationally...rules are a little on the strict side, but anyone with a grain of intelligence and capable of keeping their mouths shut can easily get aroundt them. Not much to do in Lynchburg after 10-so be prepared to go to a Student Lounge if you wanna go somewhere to hang out.

Question
I came to Liberty University as a transferNot so brightNursing
I came to Liberty University as a transfer student. When I toured the school they gave off a very different impression than what it is actually like to attend school here. Students are very tightly monitered and don't have much freedom. Liberty tries very hard to impress their extremely conservative values on all of the students. A lot of the staff insists that drinking alcohol (even if you don't get drunk) is a sin. Many of the students here have been very sheltered their whole life and are closed minded. I was already a Christian when I came to school here, but most of these people make me not want to be a Christian! For people who say they are very loving - there sure is a lot of judgement and condemnation of things they are unfamiliar or uncomfortable with. I also had attended a very academically smart university before coming here, and I am so bored out of my mind with the level of academics. I don't even have to study and I get A's. I would LOVE TO TRANSFER OUT OF HERE, but I only have a year and a half of school left so it would cost me more money to transfer. I miss regular college.

Question
Although Liberty University is accredited their online progrNot so bright
Although Liberty University is accredited their online program shouldn't be. They allow you to use your book to complete tests.

The test taking is not not monitered by a proctor. They make up for the fact that the test are open book by flooding the online students with material and work.

If you have a job do not attempt Liberty's program they do not want you to complete it. I did all of the work I could and had one major issue their software! I would submit test and the computer system would say error contact administrator.

If you ask to retake the test they give you a small amount of time to retake it. If you can't retake it because you are working or doing something they will send you an email not call you. Saying that since it has been so long you cannot retake the test. Liberty is a scam they do not want to give degrees to 30 thousand online students because that would look ridiculous. Don't waste your money at Liberty. It is possible to receive a degree from Liberty but you will not receive the grades that you deserve even if you work hard. The fact that they let you complete tests open book makes you feel like you cheated. They are impersonal and want you to withdraw without giving you anything in return.
