PCC helped me spiritually and it's where I met my wife.Education
PCC helped me spiritually and it's where I met my wife. However, it did not help me career wise- only to realize what I do not want to do.

I'm glad to have met my spouse at PCC, there are some regrets though about having attended a non accredited school. There are also regrets for going to college altogether. In some ways I wish I would have made a career out of the military(obviously the rules were not a problem for me), or at least received some training in a high tech field. Yet in other ways I wish I would have went to a trade or art institute. This may sound like I do not know what I want, but in fact I've started my own business and have taken classes to further my interests.

I have no regrets about the friendships I made while at PCC- I'm still in contact with several friends and see them occasionally though we are several states away. The bonds we share are for life..

Career wise I recommend a high school kid not to go to college right out of high school unless they really know what they love to do and can see themselves doing it for a long time. Spend some time working or following someone around in the field you are interested in or you could waste four years of academics at a non accredited collge like I did. Or go to PCC for a year and get some good spiritual truth, mature and go follow your dreams elsewhere. Without PCC life as my wife and I know it would be totally different- we wouldn't be together, but I may have had other opportunites to advance my career. So would I go four years again? Probably if I knew she was there- probably not if she was'nt.

Question
The training I received in art at PCCArt & Design Department
The training I received in art at PCC was incredible. My technical skills improved tremendously under the direction of the art faculty. I have a couple of criticisms, nonetheless. One is that they do not allow for personal exploration/discovery in anyone's artwork. Every student must paint with extreme realism and must conform to their ideas of what art is and is not. There is no freedom at all for expression. Fortunately for me I wanted to study this style of art so it wasn't a problem. The other thing is that Art History Class was a bit ridiculous as all the slides they show of great sculpture, paintings, etc. have big black boxes over all the "un-PCC approved areas". The Michaelangelo's statue of David was one of many of the significantly blocked pieces of artwork.

As far as the rest of the real world, PCC did not prepare me for any of it. They teach you how to be an unquestioning, mouse-like employee and not about how to survive and succeed in the world or business. They teach you nothing of how to assert yourself, think outside of the box, or any other vitally important skills in business and life in general.

Question
It is a schoolQuite BrightPreLaw and Legal
It is a school FULL of rules, so if you aren't prepared to handle lots of self-discipline (and that of administration) then it's not the school for you. On the other hand, the school is very friendly and safe.
