I graduated from PCC and found it toAverageAccounting
I graduated from PCC and found it to be very rewarding. Anyone who does not go in with a good attitude and without carefully reading all the rules would have a problem. The faculty has an open door policy and even give their home phone numbers out if you need to call for help. As far as the accredidation issue, if you call the records office, they will send course descriptions to any college you might want to attend so that your credits will be accepted. I know a student from PCC who went on to Harvard. Anyone who says that their credits are not accepted elsewhere has not taken the time to research into it.

The college was great, and similar to anywhereBrightMechanical Engineering
The college was great, and similar to anywhere you go in life there are the good's and bad's. Academically the college is sound and has great background for their students in preparing them for a career. I feel that my engineering degree was challenging and I have been equally, if not more than prepared for my career.

Question
PCC is not for everybody.Education
PCC is not for everybody. If you like complaining about the rules, the people, the campus, then don't go. I received a great education that I am proud of. I have a great job that I love. I would not have been prepared for the job I have if I had not attended PCC. Yes, they are very strict, but that helped me more than ever focus on my studies. I do not consider myself a PCC "clone." I agree that some of the people there are very phony (mostly the ensembles), but most people there are great.
