Pensacola Christian College and its oppressive rules wereNursing
Pensacola Christian College and its oppressive rules were a nightmare. It definitely provides you with adequate nursing knowledge to function independently and competently as an RN; however, it does not prepare you at all for those pesky interpersonal relationships we all encounter out in the real world. It brings to mind a gal who was a year or two behind me who had a fling with a married physician...if PCC had not been so sexually repressive, would these situations occur? Of course they would, but probably lnot to the same degree of frequency.

My years at PCC were singlehandedly the worstQuite BrightFinance
My years at PCC were singlehandedly the worst in my life. I left my Jr. year to attend a Big Ten School and have never regretted my decision. No matter how hard I tried, PCC faculty always shot me down. My grades were fine my attitude was in check, but they always found SOMETHING to give demerits for. It's ridiculous. When I decided to leave I put my few belongings in storage for the summer and returned to get them in the fall. After traveling from IN to FL to retrieve my personal items I was told that they "disposed" of them....among the items was a quilt my grandmother had handmade. I was irrate---they were indifferent. Don't waste your money on an unaccredited program that will impose useless rule upon rule in an attempt to make you the robot they desire. It is a cult-like institution! Don't do it!

Question
Even though I hate the actual school, I'veQuite BrightBusiness - Management and Administration
Even though I hate the actual school, I've made some of the best friends of my life here at PCC. But social aspects aside, this school is terrible. Administratively this school is horrible. Ever hear "you get what you pay for"? Well, that entirely applies to Pensacola. I am currently a second semester senior who didn't find out til 5 weeks into my last semester that I was over the credit limits in a specific category, so my extra credits were taken away and I no longer qualify for full time student status. This affects me financially. If you go into the arts and sciences school program, they offer no or terrible advising. You're expected to do everything on your own and if you happen to not know something " you are penailzed for your own ignorance" as an associate dean told me. If you are planning to go into bussiness management, then maybe this school is for you because they bend over backwards for those students. So yes, I had a great time here with my friends, but if you want to go to a school without hassles, quality professors who know what they are doing and are willing to give you the time of day, assurance that you'll get quality advising, quality health services when you are sick, and a nice surrounding community - DO NOT GO TO PCC!!!!
