Pensacola Christian College

Because of an attempt to maintain certain standards, PCC was closed-minded to anything and anyone who did not display the PCC spirit. They gave a bad name to Christians. The education quality was good, but accredidation would really help. PCC needs to loosen up on the dress code (i.e ladies wearing pants). I did not like the way the faculty tried to control your entire life. It was it's own little world.

Campus Aesthetics: A+, Social Life: C-

Here you go:

1) school is not accredited - BIG problem
2) this will affect you once you leave and try to pursue any advanced degree
3) the social life is poor at best
4) cannot live off campus
5) lots of rules (many unwritten)
6) lots of people that try to get you in trouble7) SEVERE LACK of web access, email, etc.

4th Year Male -- Class 1992

Faculty Accessibility: A, Individual Value: F

Their unaccredidation kept my wife from being able to get her masters or her teaching certificate in VA for public schools. The No Child Left Behind act all but requires public schools to hire out of accredited institutions. My wife utterly changed her career due to this problem. PCC even tried to help but could budge no doors.
