MBA in Accounting
An individual who holds a bachelor degree in business administration or accounting can obtain their MBA accounting degree in as little as 1 year. Individuals with associates or bachelors degrees in other areas can obtain their MBA in accounting as well but should expect to spend a little longer in school. Some schools have 5 year programs that when completed individuals will graduate with typically two to three degrees.
Some states require individuals seeking to be certified in certain aspects of accounting to have at least an MBA degree to seat an exam.
