Overall it is a good school with a good academic reputation. Many students here go onto top graduate schools. The student body is relatively small, so you will probably recognize, if not know, most of your classmates. Getting involved in student organizations and obtaining leadership positions comes easily. It is also easy to make a core group of friends, especially with the new freshman housing. The campus is really pretty, even with the snow during the winter. Popular activities include watching movies, partying in the frat quad, attending events of student groups, taking a road trip to Canada, and just hanging out with friends… oh, and studying with friends!

The downsides of the school include its location and a non-exciting student body. Rochester is cold and gloomy for most of the year, but when the sun does come out, you’ll see hundreds of students outside enjoying it. There isn’t that much to do in the city of Rochester, but Niagara Falls and Toronto are only 1.5hrs and 3hrs away, respectively. There are some parties in the frat quad, but generally, the most popular places on campus are the libraries.
