Overall its a great school—great professors, beautiful campus, decent food, everything you could want, but academically, its extremely challenging and the pressure to do well and compete with other students is absurd. Studying will take up most of your time, and more than likely YOU WILL NOT HAVE MUCH OF A SOCIAL LIFE. The majority of students here are friendly though but after a while you'll realize that many are just fake. There's a lot of stress here that never seems to go away and it's easy to get depressed. Drinking is pretty big, but there's few frat parties. Most people just get a bottle of vodka, even though beer is the only thing allowed here. The financial assistance is good but there's a lot of cheaper schools to go to. If you get stuck footing the bill you'll quickly learn that the tuition costs and fees are way too high and will probably start to resent the amazingly high number of spoiled brats that run around with mommy and daddy's credit card buying everything they want. As for my advice to succeeding here, you have to be willing to put school first and give up on having a social life, but if you want to be happy you have to find your own balance of staying sane and earning decent grades. Most importantly, DO NOT GET BEHIND because it's extremely hard to get caught back up. The reality is that you will probably have to study each and every day and if you can accept that then you'll love it here.
