The University of Rochester

No matter what I have objectively gotten out of the U of R, I cant help but feel at least slightly dissapointed about my experiences there.

I suppose my biggest gripe is with the actuall students and the environment that they foster: It is indeed difficult to get through a day without hearing multiple people talk about how a) The City of Rochester sucks, b) The weather sucks, and c) They only came to U of R because they were offered money or that they just missed out on an Ivy League

It is very difficult to find a person who is will admitt to attending U of R simply because they thought it was a good school. There is always some sort of excuse.

The social life at U of R is highly problematic. Most people who attend U of R have been thinking about getting out as soon as possible since freshman year. Nobody really has the capacity to enjoy themselves at all, for some reason or another.

Without question, U of R has one of the lowest morales of all colleges and universities in the US. I have been to many other schools to visit, and they all seem like more enthusiastic places than the U of R.

That said, the U of R is one of the most academically schools around. This is the only reason anyone should consider attending this school. you will get an excellent education in almost any field. But dont expect to have much fun while your getting it.

P.S rochester isnt so bad(its even kind of nice), there are good looking girls here, but people are too conservating for the most part
