Major: Religion/Religious (This Major's Salary over time)
UF is a great college to attend, especially considering the extremely low tuition rates. All of your professors are accomplished in their field, and the majority are friendly and accomodating. Despite that, some professors fail to make classes challenging enough. Some resort to tests that rely almost completely on memory rather than complex rational thinking. This was true of several of my religion classes; I would have Harvard trained professors going over future tests as if we were in high school. In other areas this is generally not a worry, such as in philosophy, which I minored in. The good thing is that with a little investigation, UF lets the college experience be as demanding as you want it to be. The only other problem, which is a by-product of what I'e just mentioned, is that UF has too much grade inflation. The average grade in classes seems to be a B rather than a C. This can devalue your diploma to employers.
