Major: Business - Management and Administration (This Major's Salary over time)
Middle Tennessee State University is a large school of close to 20,000 undergraduates, but it is widely known as a commuter school. I myself chose to commute this year because I found living in the town of Murfreesboro to be boring and dull. Most of the student body that I came across has no ambition to be the best, but just to get a diploma. Competition amongst classmates should not be difficult for anyone who gives just a little effort. The business program is in my opinion very weak and needs to undergo major changes. The faculty is for the most part friendly and helpful, but when it comes to career planning MTSU is horrible. The quality of the companies that come to on-campus career fairs are extremely sub-par while the career resource center seems to be non-existent (I think that it was shut down at some point this past semester due to lack of funds, but I could be wrong). Coming to MTSU was a mistake I made, so my transfer this fall will be the best decision I've made in the past two years.
