Exactly! Yale is just a name, most people even regret having gone there. In my opinion, Yale is some 300 year old "shit hole" excuse my French…you Ivy League snobs. A person can earn a great education and degree just about anywhere now-a-days. Some UC and STATE schools can blow Yale right out of the proverbial water of education so to speak. So think about your future before spending a butt-load of your parents savings, just because you want to go to an Ivy League school. |

Don't go for the name. That's all it is. A NAME. I regret going for the prestige and wasting the last few years of my life. The faculty are rarely around and have TA's teaching. It's not worth it. I can't believe how the world perceieves the name of "Harvard" and "Yale" as being the best. When I see those words I think about how dumb I was to go here. Stay away from the Ivy League. Get an education at a small liberal arts school that has research opportunities and good professors.
