SAIC is a good school if you have a clear desire to become an artist. The teachers know their fields and the museum gives you a tremendous access to work that has been done before you. However, you must push yourself at SAIC because no one is going to do it for you. If you desire structure or are not sure that art school is for you then SAIC is not the place. On a personal level I have enjoyed it quite a bit.
