Major: Electrical Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
It's not nearly as ugly as everyone tells you. A few parts are, but a lot of the campus is really nice. Also many departments are moving over to a new campus that's very nice in atmosphere and infrastructure. The electrical engineering department has great teachers and gets better as you progress, but the curriculum still needs some work in the lower levels. If you're in-state and want to do something technical it's a no-brainer to come here. There's also a lot of research you can get involved in (if you push) as an undergraduate.I'd say if anything's holding the university back, it's the students. The professors here are very smart and great teachers, but they all begin to lower their standards for the students.
