I'm from Missouri and if you're an out-of-stater attracted by lucrative sholarship offers, think twice. Alabama's is good no doubt but it is different going to the South in general. People are a little fake here, putting on a smile when really not everything is ok. So the score alabama got on this website is a little overinflated.

The Greek system is big here. Big. I guess it's like most other campuses, but most parties occur at frat houses so if you're interested in non-Greek sponsored parties, you got to make your own.

Furthermore, most people expect everyone here to be from Alabama. You can succeed here, but you have to try.
