I felt some racism too. When I say something positive about Americans, people just thought I was bashing only hearing the word "Americans". I have been to several universities and colleges and feel the grading least accurate at UH. But at UT Austin, a preacher (looked like a prof in the student square)told me to go back to my country as I walked. Hey, my family goes to the annual A&M presidential ball for a reason. I have seen a 9 feet NAZI flag inside a UT condo. And a Confederate flag outside a UT condo. Recently, the new Jewish center at UT was vandalized, badly enough to put on the television news for concern. So racism isn't unique for UH. UT's science building is named after a controversial prof. And many other stories I can talk about other Universities. Some universities have more or less racism, but its there. This isn't a great age range.
