My experiences at Pensacola Christian College were, for the most part, very positive. They did an excellent job in not only preparing me for teaching in a Christian school, but for living my life as a Christian—being able to use the principles that I was taught there to make wise, Biblically-based decisions in my life, and impart the truths of God's Word to my child. Life has not been perfect, but that is in no way a reflection on my alma mater. Based on my four years there, I feel that Pensacola Christian College did an outstanding job of preparing me for the future—stressing attendence in church (I still go to all church services—I didn't get "out of the habit" while attending a college where attendence wasn't mandatory or encouraged); I read my Bible and pray on a consistent basis; I learned to live with people I didn't know (you'll appreciate that one when you get married!); self-discipline was stressed, and punishment was meted out when necessary (everyone has to obey the same rules—it's YOUR choice to either yield and comply or suffer the consequences; the excuse of "I didn't know" doesn't fly—remember you are supposed to read the handbook before registering for classes—if you don't, then that's your fault).
