Date: Mar 24 2007 Major: Nursing (This Major's Salary over time) Going to PCC has helped me greatly as a nurse. I work at a Children's Hospital, and while many of the other new grads that I was in orientation with when I first started where still carrying minimal assissnments, I was able to carry the whole pt load with little assistance. I feel that my preceptorship and many hours of clinical helped to prepare me for working as a real nurse. I love my job, and feel that I am good at it because of the instruction I received at PCC. For students in high school-try to save up before you go so you don't have to work during the semester. I can be done as a nursing major, but it is hard. Get good grades your freshman yr so you can make it into the program, but don't stress out about it, and make time to have fun too!
