I can't speak for the other departments, but as an Acting BFA, I have had an amazing experience at Emerson. The classes are mind opening and there is a lot of individual attention. The faculty do everything they can to help you grow and are always willing to meet outside of class to discuss or for extra help on your work. The students have a great attitude and there is not much pretension among the actors (at least not as much as among the film students). So there is some definite corruption in this system. Nevertheless, I have found that the faculty and extracurricular experiences at Emerson by far outweigh the administration problems. It's a trade-off, but it's worth it. I
