Honestly, the campus is not situated in a social scene but the place is great. It's small, lovely, and has too many tourists usually but the location is a great four year imposed down time on your life. Better colleges there may be, better climates there are not. The student body is quite relaxed (a bit too relaxed in my opinion at times considering the popularity of pot there) and only the frats seem to be an exception. It very small as far as state colleges go, comfy in its size, and extremely affordable. The professors will give you as much intensity and unwatered down education as you are willing to take on. They are honestly great. You get what you make of it, and though I graduated Magna Cum Laude, I was lazy and didn't. Choose your classes and especially professors carefully, and ask questions dammit; the professors there are under utilized and itching to show their brilliance. Many of them are eager to know you and are more approachable than other bigger name colleges. It's a prime situation for those who want it all for the most important four years of their life…except a really active club scene I suppose.
