Date: Nov 02 2007 Major: Geography and Geosciences (This Major's Salary over time) Bloomington was the selling point for me. The greeks have their own narrow view of the area but I think the city was a great place to be. There is alot of activity for such a small town; a thriving arts community, a killer music scene (home to Secretly Canadian), beautiful natural setting, and Louisville & Indy are only a short drive away. Progressive ideas are embraced and developed readily in the community which leads to a great environment to test out new things and ideas. If you can live out in town, you'll find a much more rewarding experience then remaining on campus. The school is really quite good (not to mention beautiful) in a plethora of areas which can be a problem for a dabbler like myself. My only issues where extreme bureaucracy which the administration, on campus food choices, the sad sorry state of the Health Center.
