Major: Finance (This Major's Salary over time)
The first few years are rough because of the general education classes. You have some choices in classes and teachers so pick easy and interesting teachers for classes that you don't like and harder and/or interesting ones for the classes you like. Ex… If you are a finance major like me then you will need to be better at math so make sure you take a decent professor with good reviews for teaching …maybe even think about taking an advanced extra math class to go along with the basic ones, you'll learn better later on and have a better time.Don't get bogged down in english classes your freshman year. It seems like some of the professors like to make a point that they know more than you by giving you bad grades. Make sure you are learning how to improve the grade and not just making repetitive C's. I learned nothing in my first freshman english class because the teacher was horrible. Seriously, take classes that you want to learn from and don't get caught up in other people's negativity. Most are there to get in and get out and complain all the time about the work. If you enjoy a class, like philosophy as I did, then go to every class and participate. Sometimes you just have to focus on the current and forget about two years ahead in order to learn. The semesters are short so focus on school. There are plenty of good professors, use mtsureview.com/ for some reference.
