Notre Dame is the best place in America one can go for an undergraduate education. The alumni network is influential and supportive. Many opportunities have become available to me because of my connection to Notre Dame (either via direct support from another ND alum or simply because employers/graduate schools/etc. have been impressed by the ND degree).

Here's a true story which sums it up…I went on to receive a masters degree from Harvard and doctoral degree from Boston College. In every major job interview I've had, the interviewer has always said, "Oh, I see you went to Notre Dame…". Not "I see you went to Harvard" or "I see you went to BC."
