I am currently a student. i have transferred from a different college, and am quite used to college life. PCC, although having excellent academics, must realize that there is more to the college life than the work. it is about growing, finding your own thoughts, and being able to grow your relationships with other people, in and out of the classroom. PLEASE NOTE: no student is allowed to go home for thanksgiving, and there is NO, i repeat NO, spring break. yeah, that threw me for a loop too!!! it's like they expect us not to have a social life outside of campus. also, something hard to find, pcc is not accredited. depending on your vocation, it may be difficult to find a job. this institution does need a great deal of work, although it does have a good foundation. Overall, they need to lighten up on the rules, continue in ther excellent education, and become accredited. we are not allowed to have our own convictgions about anything, but are rather forced to accept pcc's, or at least pretend to.
