Major: Economics (This Major's Salary over time)
Social Life" This is not a HUGE party school that is going to have people come into your dorm room and pull you out to the party. A lot of people seem to come here with that idea, and I think they tend to be the ones dissapointed and writing the negative social reviews on here. The truth is, pretty much any night you can go out. There are clubs in the city that are a lot of fun, and there are frats open thursday-saturday. Usually there is at least one big party every weekend that'll be tough to get in unless you know someone (again why some people (the socially awkard ones) complain. The social life here can be a lot of fun if you want it to be. Academics: Economics classes are the best thing that ever happened to me. I came here not knowing what I wanted to do, and had never been passionate about any subject, now I am. The teachers are mostly famous economists, and yet extremely approachable and friendly. We have had nobel prize winners who come back for speaches and we have some of the most cited economists in the world working here. It really is amazing learning economics from people like this, and people on a name basis with them.
