I have been to seven other universities in three states as well as France, and I have degrees from three of those. My degree at UNT will be my fourth. I can truly say from experience that UNT is a friendly campus, much more so than others, and this refers to both the students and the faculty. The faculty are incredibly helpful and approachable and seem to truly care; they are not so absorbed in their own latest project to care about the students. UNT is innovative and, in my opinion, is underrated. The professors here take a personal interest in the students, and I am enjoying an interactive education that I did not receive at my other, "bigger name" schools.
