I taught here and was treated well - I decided to teach at a better school.

Some advice:

Ask VERY had questions about the department you are considering - the quality is VERY erratic.

Look at the faculty - do they REALLY have industry experience? Is their Masters degree from SCAD?

The admissions department is slick - be very careful.

SCADs reputation is self-generated - most events are to enhance the SCAD brand - not students.

Admission is open - if you get into better school - go - the better school is better for a reason - better student, faculty, standards.

Savannah is dangerous and SCAD security has no ability to save you
