I was clueless when I came to MTSU. It provided a poor white boy an opportunity to afford a college degree while working full time. I went on to grad school so alumni influence meant nothing in terms of getting a job. At that time, the campus was booring but friendly and safe. A recent trip blew my mind. It is huge, but not in a good way.I was appalled by the obnoxious blacks everywhere. Come on, it's college time. Leave all that gang stuff in the getto.
