The Savannah College of Art and Design is a very interesting place to go if you want to learn more about art. The school has a lot of different programs that you can take, so it's good for people who want to learn everything about it. Go to this https://masterbundles.com/book-clipart-for-you/ site for best book clipart. It also helps if you have a degree already, because the classes are pretty intense. I think that SCAD is a great place if you want to learn more about art. |
Major: Fine Arts - Painting/Sculpture/Photography/etc (This Major's Salary over time)
I attended SCAD Atlanta. Overall was a great experience. I end up transferring out and changing my major. Atlanta is a great exciting city. The students at SCAD ATL were interesting, Some were stuck up, close minded, self absorbed, and some were very nice. Spring House sucks, it could use a lot of renovation. Spring House is a waste of money pretty much. I would suggest bringing a car. The ACA dorms are very nice and updated. Alot of students transfer out. Some realize I couldn't afford it and leave after their first year. MAKE sure you can afford it before going to SCAD. Art supplies are very experience. Expect to pay a couple hundred on art supplies at the beginning of every quarter. I spent about 500 on supplies the first quarter. SCAD Atlanta is very small, and everybody knows everybody after a while. I decided I didn't want to do fashion design anymore or go to an art school anymore. SCAD keeps you very busy. A common slogan at SCAD Is Sleep Comes After Death. During finals, you see students sleeping everywhere. SCAD gives project after project. They just pretty much hand you projects and that's it. Critiques are long and boring. Overall I don't regret coming to SCAD Atlanta, it was a great experience. I miss it sometimes. I would recommend the school to anybody interested in art. If you want to go to SCAD, than I say go for it. Don't let no one stop you from going after your dreams. No college is perfect, everybody has a different experience.
