I agree. Being on campus brings me down; I can't wait to leave for home again. Like yourself, I've always been an excellent student, but I'm doing very poorly at UH. I think it's Houston; the folks in this town lack spark, imagination, creativity. |
Sorry but if you failed at UH (which even though were Tier One now, a lot of the classes are easy!) then it's on you and not the university. Accept the fact that you couldn't male the same grades there as a community college, which is tailored for students to make EASY As. Get over it and grow up! |

Major: Physics (This Major's Salary over time)
I've been to two community colleges and three universities. I came to UH for a girl. Social life here is the worst. Professor thought I was a "spy" I was born in the USA so I don't know how that arose. All you have to do is look at my transcript, etc. Before coming here I made the dean's list and was the only A in 4 of my math and science class and an A in a few other classes. At UH, I was flunking out. I transfered and graduated fast. This school has a negative vibe. But as I see on this website some don't. Now, I run a business and tutor on the side. Because my junior advisor thought that I should be a prof someday because of my tutoring experiences.
