I am a Pro Pilot major and I think that the aerospace department as a whole is very good. The professors know their material and are good at teaching us. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about most of the other departments. The campus itself is ok but most of the buildings are very old and need refurbishment. The student body sucks. Way too many black thugs from Memphis here and they are probably the dumbest people i have ever seen. Do not take night classes, especially if you are a female, because the campus is not safe at night. There have been countless cases of women being molested by black males who probably don't even go here. Whether you live on or off campus doesn't increase or decrease the danger level. My apartment was recently broken into and the police basically didn't care. If you have other options besides MTSU i would choose them because honestly im only here because of how cheap it is and because of my major. If i could go back and rethink my options i would not be here now.
