AMEN brother! There is a huge difference between graduate education and undergraduate education. I felt that my graduate education at SCAD was just a repeat of what i did in undergrad. same teachers, same assignments etc. It was a waste for me. The online stuff was even worse. There does not seem to be any standards in admissions at SCAD, if you can pay, you can play. |
There are LOT of video game came companies on the east coast. Check out Maryland for one. My husband is in the video game world and his starting salary was double what you're stating. For the companies (say Bethesda) near the VA line - live in MD because the cost of living is lower. Check NJ, RI, NY, etc… we've worked with at least 3 different companies on this coast. |
Whole for it is about art and development and design. These designs and something others which were showing you for essay have, where you can take them and make it better for you own demand. When your demand is complete then you can make them perfect ever. |

I don't even know if it was worth it. Don't get me wrong, I learned a lot and experienced a lot; couldn't tell you if SCAD itself was corrupt or not because I'm pretty opened minded and just accepted it. But upon retrospect SCAD is pretty bad and a lot of the reviews here are pretty spot on, so I'll summarize my comments without overlap too much. The School:
