Major: English (This Major's Salary over time)
University of Houston is very much like an oversized Junior College. The students aren't overly friendly or unfriendly, they just go for a couple of hours a day and leave. On campus life is almost not there at all at times. There is lots to do in the surrounding city, but a car is a must to reach anything. The surrounding neighborhood is NOT good. The school is great for natural science oriented majors including chem and bio, but HFAC and Social Sciences have suffered in the last couple years.
