Major: Political Science (This Major's Salary over time)
I've found UR to be rather conservative. Not, of course, in a politcal sense (what college is?) but in terms of attitude. THe administration is cracking down on the party scene, and many feel that the normal college shenanigans are less pronounced here than elsewhere. Still, it's an excellent school with a lot going for it. Rochester and the surrounding area is great if you know where to look. THe students here are generally friendly, and there isn't a terribly elite atmosphere. Most professors are top-notch, although intro courses are large in some majors. The campus is beautiful. Parking sucks.
