Major: Political Science (This Major's Salary over time)
I graduated from UR and many of these reviews are correct. UR is a small academic school where much is expected of the students - everyone studies. The social scene is fine, Eastman School of Music is awesome, and frats are popular. UR students drink like other universities but UR students are definitely focused on academics. You are spending a lot of money on your education and UR students take advantage of the opportunities to learn while having a social life “ not the other way around. Also my experience was that most students that were unhappy werent displeased with the university or the education but the weather or a lack of metro area. If you are from a warm sunny climate and/or a metro area make sure your comfortable with the setting.
