You give the education quality an F but say that the schoolwork is useful at a B- and that the faculty are helpful. The desert is not for everybody but, keep in mind the majority of people residing in the beautiful city of Tucson are transplants from northern states. If you only stay around campus, I can imagine it gets pretty old. Explore the area. Venture to Mt. Lemmon, Sabino Canyon, Catalina State Park, Tombstone, Colossal Cave etc. I would like to know how you validate that the education quality is so low? Or, rather, are you just unhappy with your surroundings? I went to a private university in Ohio for three years then joined the military and 11 years later went back to school at UA. As a graduate from the UA I believe that the education level is quite high especially in the sciences, which you major in. Perhaps Biochem is too hard for you to pass? |
Sounds like a troll here. Get a life. |
Major: Biology (This Major's Salary over time)
I left my cold hometown in a february snowstorm Senior year to come see the University. Between the mountains, beautiful weather and nice people I could not turn down this school. Those three things wore thin in the first month here. I dont even notice the mountains anymore, sunny weather everyday without seasons gets old very quickly and be aware that when visiting you are treated better than you will be treated for the rest of your time there. I dont care where you come from, odds are that Tucson is much dirtier and ugly than your hometown. The town is made up of houses, stripmalls and bad parks with brown grass. If you are from out of state, DO NOT GO HERE. You can do better.
