Pensacola Christian College is NOT accredited and is NOT recognized by other state run colleges or universities throughout the U.S. You can graduate with an education degree and go through some loop-holes to get a temporary Florida certification which will allow you to work in public schools in Florida and private schools that require certification. I found that most Christian elementary schools in Michigan require their teachers to be certified, which meant I couldn't get a job there very easily. A lot of elementary schools now want potential teachers to also have a specific subject area studied in college as part of the Elementary Education degree program (such as Language Arts, Math, Reading), but PCC does not offer this type of program. You can easily teach English as a Second Language overseas if you want to. It will be difficult to get into grad programs outside of Florida, because PCC is not accredited. You can work at smaller, church-run Christian schools in the U.S. (which is what PCC wants for their Education graduates), and you will probably make between $12,000-$24,000/year. If you want to make more, you can apply for your Florida State Certification and teach at a public elementary school in Florida starting at about $37,000.
