Date: Mar 28 2007 Major: Education (This Major's Salary over time) PCC was a great experience. Not only did I have a top-notch education, I received actual experience in my field. Education is one of several majors well-known for excellence at PCC. Ed majors do practicums in their fields, observations and evaluations of actual teaching, and then top it off with an actual teaching internship. None of this is easy. The whole point of everything at PCC is to strive for excellence. The only area people might have a problem with is rules. Yes, PCC is strict. They take their responsibility for the students very seriously. The best way to approach some of the seemingly-useless rules is to remember that you are getting a superior education at a well-respected institution. A student should be able to put up with some "silly" rules for three months at a time—the month long Christmas break and long summer break help.Character building is considered to be just as important as the intellectual education at PCC. This is a Christian college in practice as well as name. All students know that from the start. If a student chooses PCC, he knows that there are strict rules that go along with the super-low tuition and excellent academics.Over all, I can do little other than recommend Pensacola Christian College.
