If anyone is thinking of going to PCC, please reconsider. I enrolled in the Education program and lasted 1 semester and 2 weeks. I always say that the worst decision I ever made was to go to PCC and the best was to leave. I am not a rebellious person, but I find find that going to PCC means that you are signing over your rights and liberties. The rules there are so controlling, they do not teach a person to think for themself, instead they do the thinking for you. I was written up for leaving a light on when I went to change my laundry. No one was in the room when the floor leader checked, so I got a demerit for something so inconsequential in the grand scheme of things. After completing my education at a secular university, I can see the shortcomings in the Education department at PCC. If you want to learn how to be a teacher, do not go to PCC, if you want to learn how to go through the Abeka curriculum, go to PCC. I did not finish the whole Ed program, but know people who have and what they have learned. It is not up to par with other colleges and universities, both Christian and Secular. My sister completed her degree at PCC in 2002. She found her degree to be useless. She is now stuck in a dead end job. According to most employers, she has no college education. Again, PLEASE do not go to PCC.
