Here's a couple of questions for those of you considering going to this "non-profit" art college.

Q: How does one fail a class if they have turned in all homework, passed all tests, and only been absent once?

A: Voicing concerns about how the classes tend to differ greatly from the course descriptions to the department head.

  • Q: How does someone who repeatedly earned high marks on all projects and praise for class participation earn a C on a course needed for Graduation?
  • A: SCAD's policy is to hand out C's to keep people with plenty of financial aid (GI Bill in my case) in their system for as long as possible. You must have B's in all major work. There are schmucks at SCAD still trying to graduate after 5,6,7… years! You will these people working food and retail jobs all over Savannah.

Do no go to this school, and do not fall for their hype and recruitment, it is nothing more than wholly fake, phony propaganda. Beneath the shiny veneer of their sales pitch, you will find a slick, sleazy, and dishonest operation intenitonally designed to suck you dry of your money.

SCAD cares only about you in one regard; Your ability to pay and keep on paying.

If you decide to transfer in (as I did), watch out! They will suddenly re-evaluate your credits after a the drop-add period and even change the track of the program you enrolled in in attempt to trap students in their system.

I truly hate SCAD, and you should too.
