I choose SCAD because it is an university unlike any other and its variety of opportunity is unmatched.  I wanted something different out of my college experience then a traditional university offers, and scad is even different than a traditional art school.  The Campus is fun because it is spread thought the city and there is always something going on.  Classes are challenging but if your going to make the commitment to scad wouldn't you want them to be?  I don't and would not suggest walking around along at night, but I would not walk alone at night in most urban cities in America.  The Dorms and the cafeteria are not the best but housing is cheep around the city and most students move off campus after freshman year.
