Question
This is a top notch public school inSuper BrilliantAnthropology
This is a top notch public school in terms of academics. Probably on par with UC Boulder and somewhat close to University of Washington. However, I'm not really here by choice...the setting is miserable. I am shocked by kids who come here from out of state. It is super hot and sweaty about half the school year, it never rains, it is a DESERT, make no mistake that you are living in a pretty terrible natural environment. If you are not a super tan and toned frat boy who's majoring in business, you don't really belong here trust me.All the parties are frat parties, which you do NOT want to go to if you're not in the frat. Stereotypes are very true about this school. I plan on transferring already, I can't deal with living in a shitty desert anymore. Pretty much a bunch of California wannabes... don't come here

Question
My education was in life and not inQuite BrightHistory/Histories (art history/etc.)
My education was in life and not in the academics at the University of Arizona. I graduated quite some time ago so hopefully this is no longer relevant.

I found the teachers as a whole to be almost totally unhelpful. There was 1 or 2 professors who would go out of their way, but they were the exception and not the rule.

If you're self motivated you can get a lot out of the education there. If not then this school might not be for you.

The facilities were very well maintained and the average day worker there is very friendly. I actually liked them better than the majority of the faculty.

The student body is physically very attractive, but often snooty. Several girls would walk away from me in bars when they found out that I was not in a frat. The non-frat crowd was nice enough. All in all it could be a good school for you. For me, however, I did not get my monies worth.
