I do NOT like those in Administration. They teach us a double standard when it comes to certain things. For instance, we are taught not to be materialistic, but if you were to ask anyone in Administration about PCC; they would describe the beautiful campus that we have. This whole past year was spent idolizing the newest building on campus...the Crowne Centre. There are so many homeless people in the surrounding Pensacola area who could reap benefits from the blessings that the Lord has bestowed on PCC, yet PCC chooses to self-glorify themselves. Another example is when they tell us how Bob Jones talks bad about PCC, but they turn around and do the same thing. This past year, I had two senior roommates who were required to watch videos depicting negative information about Bob Jones. I thought this to be extremely hipocrital of PCC.
I love my college, and I'm glad that the Lord sent me in that dirction. I have grown up so much since being there, but when asked if I would send my children there, I would reply that a lot of changes would have to be made.Thank you for the opportunity to voice my opinion.
As with any institution run by men, it is not perfect. There are rules that demand obedience. Most of these rules are to provide an atmosphere that is condusive to good studying, to protect the students, or to just make thing flow smoothly.
The challenging academics will sharpen your mind. The challenging rule will prove your character. The unusual dating standards will improve your creativity. (I am happily married, with my first child on the way.) The good preaching will build up your conscience. (No, you do not have to agree with every detail, but take the time to search the truth) The first class facilities will give you a taste of excellence and good workmanship. The on campus employment will teach you ministry.
If you are considering college, consider PCC. If God points you elsewhere go there. If God points you to PCC don't you dare go anywhere else.

Eccl. 12:13-14P.S. A lot has been said about accreditation. I used to be an education and computer science double major. God led me away from the education, but I learned a lot and am still reading about education. Accreditation = Compromise Prime example is the Michigan Charter Schools. These schools are forced to use secular textbooks, but they are allowed Bible classes. Sounds like compromise to me. Accreditation is only a problem if you make it a problem. Businesses are interested in profit, prove to them that freedom to truly educate is better than state control. Let God be your Creditor not the Florida state board.
