Screaming and several doors slamming wakes you upAverageUndecided
Screaming and several doors slamming wakes you up in the middle of the night, you check your clock and its 3AM. Frusterated cause you have class soon, you get up to go to the bathroom; you grimmace as you see throw up covering your neighbors door.

The next day you have trouble getting up because it started out with 400 ppl filling the classroom, many sitting on the floor in the back because there are not enough seats however now maybe 20 ppl fill the classroom beacuse the campus is dead and asleep till easily 4 or 5 the next day.

All homework is done online basically and no professors really care if your in class, expect to teach yourself the work. Also there is no extra help available. The library is always filled so no one can help.

The poeple are very clicky and like big groups rather then close friends and are stuck in highschool mode. They dont care to meet knew ppl or do anything but party and gossip.

I love to party but Umass was not fun partying. Imagine getting drunk and walking 2o minutes or taking a bus filled with beliggerant falling ppl to frats. They are filled and lines go out the door. Beer runs out fast and the dance floor is so filled that it is always dripping with perspiration from peoples sweat. Expect to go knowing not many ppl and watch your drinks for date rape pills. No one will watch out for you except yourself and dont expect to walk back alone. It's not safe.

People also have no creativity in activities. Their life revolves around partying. They have friends in order to party rather then partying to be with their friends. I also got the vibe like noone was actually happy and wanting to be their. Everyone was pretedning because they thought they were supposed to like it because they thought everyone liked it. But it seemes like in reality everyone was unhappy and just faking it because its "zoo mass" and your "supposed" to like it. They just go because of the cost.

Also greek life is very mean and competitive here. Each frat hates the others and the sororities really pick on the girls. one made a bunch if girls go on a field and they circled all the fat body parts and told them they had to loose it or they couldnt join.

The sports games are fun however the school has horrible sportsmanship. The school chant is "Fuck fuck fuck fuck them up, go umass." and everyone chants asshole when the other team messes up or schools and the score board says U Suck. Thats all i need to say.

The campus is also taken bad care of and noone has respect for the campus. Throw up and trash and smell is everywhere. and expect to walk for 20-40 min to get to your classes or take a bus

The food is good, that is def a positive and the town of amherst is really nice. I liked it but i did not get too much of time to explore it because like i said unless it involved drinking noone cared to do it. I also have had many good memories. The school taught me alot and I thank it for that.

I have now transfered and I am so happy.ps find out about teachers and dont get into bitchy clicks because ppl get tired of it. Everyone is one but just wait to see what happens to them.

Question
I transferred to Umass and got accepted intoSuper BrilliantOther
I transferred to Umass and got accepted into the beautiful Isenberg School of Management. My major is hospitality management. The SOM building is awesome. Its very high tech and a great place to learn. The only problem is every HTM (hospitality and tourism management) class is in this old building built in the 1950s called Flint. It is a complete joke and misleading that HTM is included within the school of management. I have never felt included and its sad because I was really anxious and excited to start when I had the orientation in the SOM building.

- Accounting 221 is horrible because its in a class with 300+ students and the teacher isn't qualified.

- Most of the HTM professors are passionate about the industry though.
- The career fair is something great that a lot of schools dont do.
- The career center is a valuable resource you can use. - If you live in Southwest dont get the unlimited meal plan because its a ripoff. Its very easy to sneak in when its busy from the exit.

Question
My school not only deals with students inBrightPolitical Science
My school not only deals with students in the United States, but also a lot of students internationally and we all are treated the same. We have a lot of different clubs and a lot of opportunities to create new clubs if the one you want isn't available. And the professors and advisors are very involved!!
