Positive Negative Neutral Advice
Here's my advice to you:Not so brightLanguage - French/Spanish/etc.
Here's my advice to you:If you're willing to waste about 36,000 a year at a school that's way out of town, focuses entirely on the green movement, technology areas and disregards the low motivation period in the winter quarter, that has 10 weeks in each quarter and *dude, the midterm is on the 5th week and the final is in less than 3 months.* barely receive strong support for the stress, AND it is unentertaining but you'd rather be an individual who does not get involved, please, be my guest and not enjoy your life up here in the freezing cold that the school will never close down for a snow day.

Question
If you are a girl and you areBrightUndecided
If you are a girl and you are reading this...DO NOT GO HERE SIMPLY BECAUSE THERE ARE A LOT OF GUYS! The guys at this school (most at least) are unconcerned with partying, girls, and hygeine. I heard all the negative things about this campus and still decided to go here because I envisioned this sort of party atmosphere. This is definitly not the case. All it did was make me miss my friends at home who are girls. Frankly, the majority of the girls at this school are weird too or deaf. And since there isn't really much to do on campus, I found illegal things to do off campus and eventually had to take a leave of absence for a "drug problem." If your main goal in college is to party and have fun, seriously do not even consider this school. Sure, there is a lot more competition at other schools, but it is definitly worth it.

Question
I was born and raised in San Diego,BrightPsychology
I was born and raised in San Diego, California, which is pretty damn close to the desert. Although its no Las Vegas, its still pretty hot and gets no snow, so imagine what I was in when I went to RIT. Needless to say, I've learned how to deal with the cold. This school is NOT recommended for people who grew up in the tropics or hot and dry areas. On the other hand, the bus system has improved tremendously this year which improves the quality of life at RIT so it may not be as bad.
